BAe ATP (Advanced Turbo Prop) (1)
Initially conceived as a Super 748 derivative, the BAe ATP was launched March 1984 just prior to the Farnborough Air Show where it was declared the aircraft would fly on 6th August 1986 at 10.00 am. Although it was the floor assembly which was the first major component completed it needed the Fuselage Centre Section and Wing Torsion Box to really kick start the ATP Assembly process at Chadderton.
