The Avro Heritage Museum is pleased to offer guided tours for visiting groups and clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Please note, guided tours must be booked in advance.
The price of a guided tour starts at £10 per person and includes a 15 minute visit inside a genuine Vulcan cockpit section (which is housed inside the Museum). Additional cockpit tours of a Lancaster (replica), VC10, and Nimrod can be pre-booked for a small fee.
The minimum and maximum group size for guided tours is 12 and 24 visitors respectively.
A guided tour explores the history of Avro, one of the most famous names in the field of aviation. The Museum houses a wealth of fabulous exhibits which each have a fascinating story to tell. Visitors are taken around the Museum by an experienced tour guide, learning about legendary aircraft such as the Lancaster and Vulcan.
Visiting groups can also pre-book an optional freshly prepared buffet lunch for an additional £7.50 pp. The Museum can cater for food allergies and special dietary requirements when advance notice is given. The Museum requires a non-refundable deposit at least 7 days prior to the visit when a buffet lunch is requested.
Regretfully, the Museum is unable to offer guided tours during public opening hours or in the evening.
