Become a Friend of the Museum
The Avro Heritage Museum is a self-funded registered charity run entirely by volunteers. The cost of maintaining and developing the Museum could not be covered by our admission fees alone, which is why we depend upon the generous donations and contributions of the Friends of the Avro Heritage Museum.
Friends of the Museum pay an annual fee and receive the following benefits:

If you would like to become a Friend of the Museum, please download the Application Form. Please return completed forms by post, marked for the attention of the Membership Secretary. Alternatively, completed forms can be handed in to reception during public opening hours.

Become a Member of the Museum
Museum Members are volunteers who look after all aspects of the Museum. Responsibilities include staffing the Museum during public opening hours, working in the archive, maintaining exhibits, and helping in the café.
The Museum is open to Members only on Tuesdays and Thursdays for maintenance, archive, and administration work to be carried out. Pre-booked group visits also take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Members acting as tour guides during these visits.
The annual subscription for Museum Membership is £10.
