BAE SYSTEMS Nimrod MRA4 - Stores & Weapons
The large Weapons Bay consisted of 5 lateral rows of ASW (Anti-Submarine Weapons) Carriers capable of carrying one of the following options:
9 Sting Ray Torpedoes
or 2 ATM-84A-1B Harpoons
or Search and Rescue (SAR) role stores

The Active Search Sonobuoy System (ASSS) located in the rear of the aircraft had Internal racks for 180 sonobuoys (or up to 360 if required). SR(SA) 903 Active Sonobuoys were dispensed from the rear fuselage via 4 Normal air-Garrett rotary launchers (each holding 10 size A buoys) and 2 single-barrel launchers for high-level release through the pressurised fuselage.
The Aircraft had four underwing pylons capable of carrying one of the following options:
8 AIM-9 Sidewinder Air-to-Air Missiles
or 4 ATM-84A-1B Harpoons
or 4 AGM-65 Mavericks
or 4 ALARM (Air Launched Anti-Radiation Missiles)
or 4 ASRAAM (Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles)
