BAe ATP (Advanced Turbo Prop) (3)

As part of the certification process the prototype has to undergo a rigorous test program, here the impact of water ingestion into the engine is tested. It also conducted hot trials in Seville and cold trials in Finland.

(Colour Photograph Bottom Right) - Production line at Woodford during 1989. In all 64 ATP aircraft were built, the last being relaunched as the Jetstream 61 & shipped by road to Prestwick for completion. Only one further aircraft flew from Prestwick's' assembly before production ceased in 1995
