During the 1990's, 146 major assembly and equipping work was transferred to the Woodford factory. This series of complex handovers was managed by the Woodford Team adopting procedures and process re-engineering techniques pioneered by the
company links to Rover. This directly led to lower production costs and much shorter Production timescales.
