(Colour Photograph Top Left) - April 2016 - The Restoration Project begins! The first major task involved erecting the scaffolding.

(Colour Photographs Top Middle & Right) - May 2016 - The scaffolding grew and grew! Although they were challenged with unusual and complex shapes, the scaffolding team took it in their stride.

(Colour Photographs Bottom Left, Middle & Right) - May - June 2016 Once the scaffold roof was in place, wrapping in plastic by Rhino began The sheets were bung joined and then heat-shrunk to the scaffolding. Gradually XM603 disappeared from public gaze, it would be the last time XM603 would see daylight for several months. The enclosure was completed on 3rd June 2016 providing protection to the Vulcan and those who would be working on her.
