AVRO 748 Prototypes

Prototypes

Authority was given 1st February 1959 for the construction for two Prototypes.
The picture on the left shows the first 748 fuselage being hand crafted alongside the full scale wooden Mock Up at the Chadderton Factory during 1959.
On the right, the second Prototype is coming together in 1960.
